YOUTUBE TAUGHT ME

In collaboration with Google, we produced a powerful series of YouTube Stories that spotlight how Australians are using the platform to learn, create, and drive change. The series features remarkable individuals such as Charles Lomu, who transformed his life by mastering barbering through YouTube tutorials; Macinley Butson, a young inventor developing SMART Armour to protect breast cancer patients from radiation exposure; and Eddie Woo, a dedicated teacher ensuring no student misses out on learning.

These locally produced mini-documentaries formed part of a global initiative, bringing uniquely Australian stories to an international audience. Featured on YouTube’s global front page, the films collectively reached over 6 million views.
