LATITUDES

Latitudes is an internationally acclaimed film series commissioned by Powerhouse Museum showcasing the vibrant creative voices of Western Sydney. Through three short films—Sometimes to One Hundred, 151ºE, and Window—the series weaves together nine artistic commissions, exploring themes of audibility, distance, and perspective. Each narrative intricately integrates elements from the museum's collection, offering a unique lens into the region's diverse cultural landscape. Premiering at Sydney Festival 2023 and featured globally on platforms like Nowness & Director’s Library, Latitudes has garnered recognition on the international festival circuit, spotlighting the dynamic artistry emerging from Western Sydney.
